1.
I ride in the back of this hearse with my ghost. His eyes speak to me. He smiles as he says, "You've got no business left here. You've made your God-less town a sheer image with which you blame your flaws upon. All apologies become inaudible. Your hands deafen every ear, each and every ear." His eyes sunk in where mine once were and wept for innocence. So I held his hand and wept with him.

Carolyn 05:26
Bruised since spring, he nurtured every fruitless leaf. Such a shallow use of a promise. Our lips are cracked from this new year's cold air. Still she stays with her twisted limbs so violently broken. Isn't it sad? Bruised since spring, he nurtured every fruitless leaf. What a harsh form of triumph over what's been left behind this new year's air. But mind your brother's words. There's blood on the words by which you said you'd stand. Now let's see who's heart tremors more. But mind your brother's words and say you're wrong.

How well do you sleep not knowing the atrocities you've bound yourself to? How long has it been now, since you've lost your sense of fear? We sat in our silence as his breathing grew heavy and the smell of whiskey plagued the air. No burden was bigger than that of our mother and our father just drank himself to bed. Her tears stung my conscious as I fell as her brother. I fell as her brother once did. I keep telling myself its all just a bad dream but you, you spoke of such better things. Don't say a word. Oh, you poor little thing. Tell me what have they done to you? Don't say a word. Oh, you poor little thing. Tell me what have we done to you?
4.
We stood dressed in shame from the beauty that stood before us. As if a saint had passed before our very eyes. Are you a martyr to blossom from this murder of such loving eyes?
5.
Did you make yourself sick from that self-gratuitous faith in a sculpted monument made in the name of the sick. Come now, speak up. Your words have been slurred. You've been drinking for courage to mend those that you've hurt. Its that typical story of the sorrow filled drunk. Oh you're so misunderstood. We stayed awake to listen to the house breathe. Let your eyes adjust, dear. When were you ever honest with yourself? I know how weak you must feel, you're so short of breath. When was the last time you were honest with yourself? When we woke from that fever our legs were tangled and our hearts both beat in regret. And I watched you whisper softly, "When was the last time you were honest with yourself?" Burn down the house with that false sense of promise. We'll drown out her screams with hushed words of solace. I won't live in the humility of my errors anymore. We'll rush down the steps leaving all this behind us. We'll drown out her screams with hushed words of solace and you know we'll never live this down.
